movie summary: A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed. (www.imdb.com)

my thoughts: Dreamworks created a masterpiece with How to Train Your Dragon. The Chief viking son’s Hiccup meets Toothless, a fire-breathing dragon. Together they form a bond, which proves that dragons and humans are not a danger to each other. The other young vikings are training how to kill dragons, while the elders are searching the waters for the dragon cave. Hiccup goes to great lengths to protect his new friend and show the rest of the world that he is harmless.

This movie is about friendship, filled with humor, action,  and adventure. The animation in this movie is spectacular. From the beautiful landscapes to the flying dragons, this will be a hit with kids and families.

my star rating: 10 out 10
