The Internship (2013)

internship

run time: 119 mins
rated: PG
considered: comedy
starring: Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Rose Byrne

movie summary: Two salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital age find their way into a coveted internship at Google, where they must compete with a group of young, tech-savvy geniuses for a shot at employment. (www.imdb.com)

my thoughts: This movie had its laugh out loud moments, but people in the theatre laughed a lot more than I did. I enjoy most Vince Vaughn movies, but this was nothing special. Teaming up with his good pal Owen Wilson, the duo bring life experiences, not work/school experiences, to an internship program filled with college graduates. These two wise “old” men have to go up against the typical “rich, smart, snotty, and spoiled” kids who are destined to win.

my star rating: 4 out 10
