I got to be honest here and say I would have just pushed the button, no questions asked. All this movie achieves, besides making us care about innocent bystanders, is whether it’s ethical to do the right thing at the wrong time. Eye in the Sky is more about politics, public images, and the press. Don’t expect an actual war movie out of this one.

I think you’d have more of a difficult time if it actually happens. Agree with the logic though, but it’s a tough call.
I want to think I wouldn’t have a difficult time, considering I would have signed up for the job. Which was my problem with those characters. If you didn’t want to kill people from a droid, sign up for a different position. Just my opinion though. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Oh okay, that changes things a little bit. That’s fairy muff man. I get ya but it’s a bit scary how you can just make that decision, no problem aha no worries dude!
I know my comment makes it seem like I have no problems taking part in such an event, it’s just people join the military for reasons like this – to take out bad people who do bad things. There’s never gonna be a perfect moment where no one innocent doesn’t get hurt. It would be hard and who knows maybe I wouldn’t be able to actually do it. I just felt like I didn’t want to ever do that to anyone, I wouldn’t join up ha ha.
I think I enjoyed this more than you did. I thought it was an interesting look behind the curtain and that it raises ethical questions we should be thinking about.
