When I think of best-selling international thrillers, I think of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. For me personally The Girl on the Train did not live up to the hype or trailers. There’s our main characters and suspects, yet to have a minor character – with all of 10 lines reveal the big plot twist, well that is just terrible writing. It would have meant more for Emily Blunt, who is phenomenal, to find the missing piece. You’ll keep guessing who the killer actually is, but once the cat’s out of the bag the ending is kinda sub-par.
