The Longest Yard is one of those love it or hate it movies. Adam Sandler is hated by everyone but his family, but can’t we give him a break in this film? His character is crazy and stupid, but when surrounded with some of the best actors ever assembled for a sports movie, is incredibly funny again. These guys are in tough but find humour to get through it together. The all-star names of this film should be enough merit to get it a higher rating for most.
