9/10
The Da Vinci Code is complex, confusing, and beautiful at the same time. Based on the best selling book, this masterpiece of a movie is long in run time but rich with historical artifacts. Tom Hanks is the perfect Robert Langdon, a smart cryptopist who is called upon to uncover one of humanities biggest secrets. His presence brings a sense of calm and knowledge to a situation that is so hush, every move he makes is death trap. I feel that even though this story is purely fictional, it does have some potential to be real, thanks to amazing performances and powerful score from Hans Zimmer.
