Primary Colors is loosely based on a real candidate who ran and won the office of the Presidency. John Travolta gives a solid performance as a southern man with many skeletons in his closet aiming to win the White House. I never felt the ending of this film did it justice, but that’s not really the point here. The story, littered with several big name actors/actresses, really focus on a man with good intentions yet can’t make a good decision if his life depended on it. Everyone knows how the real story ends…
