Rear Window pairs two legends together, James Stewart and Alfred Hitchcock, in what would be a very eerie thriller back in 1954. Thanks in some part to how crazy society has gotten in 2016, this story doesn’t really seem out of place or even unrealistic anymore. I think the best part of watching this older film is that the characters are the bloodlines to the story, their actions and words are what get us from scene to scene. Everything is very simple to easy to follow since it all revolves around one room with a window.
