Sing (2016)

5/10
Sing can be summed up by saying a great cast coupled with a really good soundtrack got ruined by a bad story. With the exception of one character, I didn’t care for these animals who despite showing potential, get sidetracked fairly easy and ruin everything they are working for. I may be taking this too far, but there is a lot of stereotyping amongst the characters that it’s not hard to read between the lines. Sing may have filled your hearts and mind with hope, yet this film proves that Illumination Animation is a clear step behind the other major studios.
