The Family Man (2000)

In an attempt to give a classic tale a modern feeling, Hollywood gave us the Family man, a look into a life that could have been. The aspect I love the most about this film is the transformation Nicholas Cage goes through when he realizes that he would have had a wonderful life as a husband and father. You think he’s a heartless kind of guy in the beginning and then feel sad for him when his alternate reality disappears. I can understand why this film isn’t liked, yet something about it just clicked for me.
