New York City is the kind of place where you need to keep your friends close and enemies closer. Corruption and bribing are the main themes of this movie that features Russell Crowe as the mayor and Mark Wahlberg as a private eye. Each guy has a massive pile of dirt on the other, which makes them think they have the upper hand when, in fact, they don’t. I thought the story was straight to the point since it focuses on just one instance of corruption among the hundreds. The ending is fitting to this particular story, which realistically could have a sequel.
