I Hate Valentine’s Day (2009)

2/10
Nia Vardalos and John Corbett share amazing chemistry on-screen. Whether dating or married with kids, they are one of Hollywood’s memorable couples. Now having said that, these two should have stuck to Greek weddings and not some watered down love story that really wasn’t all that magical, entertaining, or worth remembering. I think I laughed twice and had a hard time staying focused on the story, which featured two stupid people tripping over their own “rules” to keep themselves apart. Despite their best efforts, I Hate Valentine’s Day was a predictable story about love that doesn’t compare to may others in the genre.
