The Shack (2017)

2/10
The Shack wanted to be so many different things that it was hard to figure out exactly what I was supposed to take away from this story. Religion is the focal point here because of all the talk about God, love, forgiveness, healing, anger, self-destruction, and probably a bunch of other things I missed. The whole movie/story is very slow and boring that I found myself falling asleep several times throughout. I hate to take away from everyone’s heart wrenching performances, but I may have been one of the few people in a packed theatre that didn’t enjoy The Shack.
