Christian themed movies always seem to be a hit or miss, with just a handful actually falling in the middle of the pack. There is plenty to like about this true story and then there’s plenty not to like. How you view this film will be based on how strong your faith is, or if you even believe in religion to begin with. It’s funny how the more true to life tales involving religion are terrible with bad acting and writing, yet the movies that focus on faith and the power of prayer are always fantastic. This film got a limited release for a reason, it’s not that good.
