The Heat was one heck of a hot mess. This story was a horrible attempt to jump into the cop buddy comedy genre, trying to break the mould with two women instead of guys. These girls failed at ever getting me to believe they could actually be a team, let alone any attempt to get me to laugh. Nothing about the story was new and followed all previous cop comedies, right up to the super predictable ending that made released why I never bothered to watch it until now.
