Everyone loves to point out when major companies only produce things to make money. Cars 3 is the perfect example of trying to milk every penny out of parents whose kids are dying to see a bunch of cars drive in circles. The writers tried to give a money-making machine a beautiful send off and literally ran out of ideas of passing the torch. There are a few chuckles sprinkled throughout, but at the end of the day if you hated Cars 2, this one is even worse. This could have been the perfect opportunity to make amends for the lazy sequel, yet the studio decided that pushing the product over writing a real storyline was the real course of action here. Yes, I understand this is supposed to be a kid’s story, something they can understand, but adults have to sit through it too. Cars 3 just doesn’t compare to the others, no matter how many times you try to point out the sappy ending.
