Pretty Woman (1990)

9/10
Pretty Woman is the ultimate romantic comedy. It is one of the best films to portray the rescue of a hopeless romantic by a knight in shinning armor, while showcasing how much fate plays a part in our lives. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere have an undeniable chemistry together which really adds to the magical feeling of the story. Both of these lead characters have huge hearts and are filled with compassion, which turns out to be quite odd given their professions. Neither could have imagined a different lifestyle, but fate stepped in to show them both how wonderful things can really be. I have never been ashamed to say that I own and watch this movie on a regular basis. Having this film in your collection is a must, considering the impact it had on two film careers and the romantic comedy genre.
