The Major League franchise started out with a bang, limping into home with a mediocre sequel, before striking out with a third installment. Some of the major characters we’ve known to love or hate return for a really silly movie that never needed to be given the chance to take an at bat. If you love sports in general, you’d probably love to see the farm club challenge the big club to a friendly game for bragging rights, but the writers tried to make something fun into something crazy. The jokes and story really miss the mark here, which left me wishing the first movie was all there ever was. 3/10
