Ten Stars or Less

Love, Rosie is your typical romantic comedy, yet is not your typical romantic comedy at the same time. Sometimes we find love at a young age and it works, sometimes we find love and it is just not meant to be. That’s what we find here with our two leads Rosie (Lily Collins) and Alex (Sam Claflin) who have been best friends since they were five. Both dreamed of conquering the world together in America, but fate deals them completely different plans. The joy we get to witness is the near misses they experience several times over. It seems these two hearts are meant to be together but there is always another obstacle in the way. What made this film so enjoyable was the charming chemistry between Lily and Sam. These two are one of the best couples you could ever find yourself rooting for. They both deserve to make each other happy. You’ll laugh and maybe even cry as their worlds fall apart numerous times over, yet they manage to still be there for one another through it all. 8/10
