This Christmas if you head out to the theater to avoid the blockbusters, then there is a little movie called The Star which features the story of Jesus. Yes, there are probably a thousand of them out there, but this is told from an animals point of view. You know, the animals that helped Mary and Joseph get to the manger so they could safely deliver the Messiah. Sadly there is nothing spectacular about the film except the roll call of names behind the animals. If you take anything away from The Star, it is that sometimes we feel like we have a destiny and a dream that we must never give up on. At the end of the day, this a cute animal buddy comedy about one of the most important times in modern history. It will probably end up on Netflix someday soon, so if you missed it and actually wanted to see it, you can wait. 2/10
