You may know Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain) from either the skiing world or the gambling world, either time she probably left a major impression on your life. She has quite the captivating story whether we got all the true details in the movie or the book. The best part of Molly’s Game was how engaging it was. There were times I had to remind myself I was the movie theater watching the movie. I felt like I was a part of the story, in the trenches with her experiences the highs and lows. Chastain may narrate a lot of the story, but stays so true to the character that it just felt part of the whole experience. Molly’s Game definitely won’t be for everyone, but the performances were so great that it worth a watch to see them bring Aaron’s Sorkin’s screenplay to life. 8/10
