First things first, Liam Page (Alex Roe) may be a small town country singer who took over the world, but this guy is a jerk and really never deserved the second chances he got. Now that I have said my peace about that, I grew to appreciate the efforts he made to become a better person and a better performer. If you’ve seen the trailer you come to know that he has a daughter he’s never met. Most of the time those kind of moments are life altering, but also break the strongest people. Money doesn’t buy happiness, happiness is really about the people you surround yourself and the moments you share together. Liam got lucky he had an amazing family at home and came to his senses that these people meant more to him then the fans did. I didn’t cry during the film, but there are several times throughout the story could people to tears, whether they are tears of joy or tears of sadness. If there is anything to take away from Forever My Girl, it is the brilliant performance from Abby Ryder Fortson. This little girl has the acting abilities many adults could only dream of. Her wit, wisdom, and gifted talent is just some of the things that make this little bundle of joy worth changing your life for. I felt the title had two meanings, because you’re always wondering which girl, his daughter Billy (Fortson) or ex-girlfriend Josie (Jessica Rothe) will be there forever. 9/10
