If you look at the rating at the end, you should understand I’d love to give this movie a higher score, but I didn’t cry as much as my girlfriend and I didn’t want to get mocked across the internet. Midnight Sun is this generation’s version of A Walk to Remember. Although most people would bulk at the cast, Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzeneggar, there is a charming chemistry between the two. The best part of the movie is not the acting or the setting of western Washington state, it is the reality of the situation. There’s no miracles here, the writers kept it realistic while playing with your emotions, and pulling at your heart strings. There is no happy ending, yet the ending will leave you with a smile. 8/10
