Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning (1985)

Jason Voorhees was dead (again). If you have made it this far into the franchise you now know that Tommy Jarvis (Corey Feldman) is the kid who took down a monster. Like anyone who suffers through a traumatic experience, they are hauled off into a care facility where they can get better. Jason finally leaves the friendly confines of his lake resort and heads off to the crazy house where the pickings are fresh and really clueless. These guys really couldn’t make it any easier for Jason, or whoever it may actually be. Even though the writers tried to pull a switch up on us, it really isn’t fooling anyone, except the people in the half way house. Thankfully the franchise returns to its roots in the next movie, because this fifth movie was really a waste of time. Jason never needed decoy and we didn’t need copycat killer either. 1/10
