Thanks to everyone’s negativity in regards to Dark Phoenix, I went in with little to no expectations. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed the movie, compared to the last X-Men movie, Apocolypse. From what I understand they reshoot the whole finale, which didn’t disappoint in regards to action. Whether or not this is the end of the First Class storyline, I thought it was a good story that tied a few things together. Even if things don’t make sense, you can still come to appreciate stellar performances from McAvoy, Fassbender, Holt, Lawerence, and Turner. Jessica Chastain was underutilized, but that happens sometimes. I would actually watch this again.
