If you are a Pokemon fan, I’d advise you to stop reading now. Halfway through the movie, I sat there and wondered what on Earth I was doing there. I didn’t see any point to this movie except to sell more Pokemon stuff. It was hard to listen to Ryan Reynolds talk and then show up as himself at the end. People say the movie was predictable but I guess I missed all the clues because I was surprised. The bad guy is bad at being the bad guy and all the crazy looking Pokemon meant nothing to me. People who love these imaginary creatures will enjoy the movie much more than the less educated ones, like myself.
