Rocketman will go down as one of the biggest disappointments of 2019. I know I’ll be one of the few who hated this movie, but I just never got into the story. I just didn’t care. I wanted music and an amazing performance from Taron Edgerton. I only got the latter. People can say that I compared this to Bohemian Rhapsody, which I didn’t, because you can’t. The trailer made me think this movie was going to be better when it was worse on so many levels. If this movie wins any major awards I will boycott the show. Save yourself the heartache and don’t support terrible storytelling. Sir Elton John deserved a better life story.

Thanks! I understand why so many would love it, but the same was said about Bohemian Rhapsody. I loved it for reasons people didn’t like it. As we always say, it’s a great thing about watching and talking about movies. Everyone has something different to say about the same topic!
