Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

At another time, Spider-Man: Far from Home would have probably been a huge success. Following up Endgame is a tough task to take on. Thankfully Jake Gyllenhaal saves the film as a fantastic bad guy. He steals the show with his illusions as Tom Holland fumbles and bumbles his way through another tour of duty as Spider-Man. He grew on me in this film because he’s hilarious. I think I was the only one laughing out loud and it was awkward at times. I loved all the Tony Stark/Iron Man references, but towards the end, they were too repetitive. I love the Back and Black tribute and I am extremely curious now where they go from here with those post-credit scenes. Probably won’t live up to “summer blockbuster” status, but still entertaining from start to finish. 8/10
