Ten Stars or Less

IT: Chapter Two is another movie that never lived up to the hype. This second chapter was a film we never needed but got based on the success of the first one. The writing was by far the worse aspect of the whole thing. The characters were strong, both young and old, but this story was trash. We suffer through almost three hours for absolutely no reason. Pennywise is defeated by the stupidest of ideas, and I’m not crazy, he’ll be back after another setback. These monsters always come back. Maybe the third chapter will be scary because this film lacked the suspense and gore from the first one. Horror movies just ain’t like they used to be. 4/10
