Frozen II is a masterpiece thanks to breathtaking animation and fantastic character development. This story will take you places you’ve never dreamt of and give you a deeper appreciation of true love.
If you look back at the history of Disney and it’s a long list of Princesses, there is no one quite like Queen Elsa and her sister Princess Anna. These two have risked their lives (twice now) to save their tiny space in the world and the hundreds of people who occupy it. Elsa and Anna are by far the least selfish people you’ll ever see. It is their unselfish behaviour that makes them stand out from the rest.
You may cry…a lot. There are a handful of heartbreaking moments, but Olaf tags along to say the craziest things to keep things light. There are dangers and uncertainty around every corner, which we are not used to. These characters we’ve come to know, and love will be pushed like never before. It will break them and make them stronger at the same time.
You may love Frozen and all the catchy songs. You may have been on the other side and thought we didn’t need this story, but we did. It is truly inspiring and will go down as one of the greatest animated movies of all-time. If you can make it past all the attempts to sell new toys to young kids, you will see there’s a deeper meaning about life and about doing the right thing. A story that only two sisters, a guy whose best friend is a reindeer, and a dancing snowman will help you understand. 10/10
