By now, you’ve come to realize how much I enjoy the Addams Family.
This sequel came out two years after the widely successful original one and continued several storylines. Everyone in the cast returned, which made for an excellent addition to the franchise.
Although this film is not as strong as the first one, there were parts of it that I loved even more. The storyline of Uncle Fester finally finding love overshadowed many of the other rather dark elements. Those included Wednesday and Pugsley going off to summer camp and their numerous attempts to kill their new baby brother.
The summer camp arc is my favourite part of the two movies. Wednesday shines in this role thanks to her deadpan delivery and sarcastic comebacks. Of course, the kids would never burn down a summer camp, but watching this as a kid, it was pretty entertaining. 6/10
