The Turning has to be one of the worse horror movies to be released since who knows when. The messed up part of it all is that someone wrote a book that this movie was based on. This also means that someone read it and said, “Hey, let’s make a movie.”
Terrible decisions lead to a terrible movie that literally just ends. There’s no rhyme or reason to the ending. It is not like I enjoyed the movie or anything, but the conclusion only adds more insult to the injury.
I honestly feel bad for MacKenzie Davis, who just went from being a Terminator to being a babysitter in a movie that Netflix probably wouldn’t have even touched.
The only thing I gained from watching The Turning is I better find time in my life to write the book I’ve always wanted to write, because if this project can happen, then anything can happen.
We don’t give out zeros here, so I have to settle for this… 1/10
