The Photograph (2020)

The synopsis for The Photograph, according to IMDb, is “A series of intertwining love stories set in the past and in the present.” I got to wonder what the term “series” meant to these writers because it’s just two stories, one in the past, which happens to blend into one set in present-day New York City.

As a fan of many iconic romantic stories, I can say that both love stories in The Photograph were nothing special. Fate found a unique way to united these two, but stupidity drove them apart.

I didn’t see the twist in their love story even though it is right there from the beginning. It wasn’t overly shocking, it just makes the story come full circle.

The Photograph won’t be the worse picture you could watch, but it won’t be that memorable either. You may end up just as confused as I still am in regards to the whole thing. Either way, I’d advise you to steer clear of this one and maybe just pull out a personal photo album to look at instead. 2/10
