Best & Worst 2019

 

2019 proved to be a hectic year, both personally and professionally. Time away from home took its toll on my movie watching habits and my writing.

It pains me daily to be away because I love to write. Sometimes I don’t find the time or energy. People often tell me that if I actually focused a lot of my energy on my blog, or expanded it to a vlog and a podcast, there is no telling where it could lead me.

There was a point in time in the fall when I wondered if I would even reach my yearly goal of 100 movies at the theatre. Luckily, a late surge in November and December got me there. This past year marked the ninth year in a row that I managed to see 100 new releases on the big screen. Check out the Movie Ticket Binder page if you wish to see the complete lists.

At the time of this post, I owe you guys five reviews (the ones in orange) some already written, some need to be written.

Thanks for checking in on the blog even on days I never wrote anything. I have no clue where things will go in the future, but writing is something I’ve always enjoyed, so I hope to return to it.
